Winter Communications Tower on Mount Washington
A communications tower rises from Mount Washington's snow-streaked rocks before the silent view turns toward the lowlands.
The tower and nearby summit buildings stand against a cloudless blue sky above exposed boulders and hard-packed snow. The panorama then faces outward across the white summit shoulder and distant terrain.
