Mount Liberty

Mount Liberty is a 4,459-foot mountain in the Franconia Range of the White Mountains. Located in Grafton County just south of Franconia Notch, it is a prominent peak visible from the notch area. Mount Liberty's summit is largely open, with a distinctive rocky cone that affords panoramic views - particularly of the neighboring Mount Flume to the south and the higher peaks of Franconia Ridge (Lincoln and Lafayette) to the north. It is often hiked in combination with Mount Flume via the Franconia Ridge Trail.
