Mount Osceola

Mount Osceola is a 4,340-foot (1,320 m) peak within the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Located in the White Mountain National Forest (in Grafton County), the mountain is named for Osceola, the early-19th-century Seminole leader. It is the highest peak in the Waterville Valley region. Hikers often climb Mount Osceola via trails from Tripoli Road or from the Greeley Ponds area, and the summit offers fine views to the south and west. (Mount Osceola's East Peak, at 4,156 feet, is a subordinate summit on the ridge to the northeast.)
